The second Balak Mandir was started in 1955 with 10 students in one class-room and the number, increased up to 30 in 1956 and 55 in 1961. The number of the students went up to 90; so the Balak Mandir was shifted to the D.Ed. college with 5 divisions in 1981 having the strength of 325 students. The year 2002 saw a landmark in the history of the school when it was shifted in its own building with 5 large class-rooms. Now 7 teachers and 4 midwives look after the 350 students very carefully.1st and 3rd prizes in the state level Camlin competitions , handcraft cum art exhibitions , the organization of festivals are some of the features of the school.
