V.M. Lohia Muk-badhir Vasatigruha

The New Education Society Kolhapur has renowned legacy of 101 years. It is one of the most reputed educational institutions in Western Maharashtra. The society was established at Kolhapur in 1921. The object of society is to bring education within easy reach of the masses whereas good at cultural and technical in all its aspects by starting primary, secondary schools and colleges in different centers. Now society runs more than 22 disciplines in Kolhapur and Sangli district. The society helps the schools in maintaining excellent academic standards, provision of equal opportunities to all, learning skills and cultural rooms to achieve perfection in every field. The successors try their best to continue the task and ideology evoked by versatile management. As a result of it most of the branches gained ISO accreditation.

On 24th June 1970 late. Madanmohan Lohia, visionary started special school for Dumb and Deaf children named Vinaykumar Lohia Karnbadhir Vidyalay as a social responsibility. Though the government has given permission for 80 student, currently there are 86 students studying in the school. Out of them 35 Student are residing at Sontali Hostel whereas rest of the student commuting from city and adjacent villages most of them belongs to poor families. They can’t afford their basic needs too. So we are going to launch an Adoptive Parents Scheme or Sponsorship Of Students to fulfill of their educational needs.
